February 13, 2012 – According to reports a cash in Koreatown injured eleven people and is believed to have been caused by an alleged drunk driver.

According to authorities the crash injuring eleven people occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Western Avenue and 6th Street in Koreatown.

Authorities stated that a black BMW hit the rear end of a 15 seat van resulting in eleven injuries. The van was from the New Life Vision Church and the crash damaged both vehicles. The eleven passengers on the van that were injured, according to authorities were treated for minor injuries that are not life threatening.

According to witnesses they stated that the roadways were slick due to rain. Authorities stated that the driver of the black BMW was arrested and booked in jail. The driver is being held on felony DUI.
